Student Employment
Campus Recreation is one of the largest student employers on campus. We hire students in almost every department within Campus Recreation from intramural refs, to front desk staff, to outdoor programs trip leaders.
We typically do large hiring pushes before each semester and at the end of spring semester for any summer positions. The best way to keep up to date is to check Aggie Handshake and the listings that are live on those pages. If you have specific questions for a department, you can feel free to email the professional staff over said department - you can find contact info on the Our Team page.
For general questions about student-employment, contact Campus Recreation and someone will be sure to get back to you!

Work-Study
Work study is a need-based aid program that allows you to work and earn money to apply to educational expenses. To be eligible, you first must submit the FAFSA and meet the May 1 preferential filing date each year. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
Work Study and Student Hourly are treated equally by Campus Recreation. However, Work Study does provide the department assistance due to our extensive student-employment body. Therefore, Campus Recreation recommends that all applicants inquire about their Work Study status prior to applying for a position.
For more information regarding Work Study, please visit the Financial Aid Office.
