The University Honors Program mentors any USU undergraduate applying for a national or international scholarship or fellowship. In addition, the program offers specific scholarships and other funding for active and engaged Honors students and supports their application for additional forms of USU funding. Honors is proud to offer financial support to Honors students at every level of the program.
The opportunities listed include three categories of funding:
Honors Research and Travel Funding
Financial support for research/creative work, conference travel, and study abroad that is available on a continuous, rolling basis.
Honors Academic Scholarships
Honors academic scholarships available annually with a specific application period (currently December 10 - February 13).
National Scholarships and Fellowships
National scholarship and fellowship opportunities for which the Honors Program provides guidance, mentoring, and support.

Active and engaged Honors students may apply for up to $500 per term in funding for research/creative projects OR conference travel and up to $1000 one time for study abroad. This funding is open to all Honors students (first-year students through seniors), and the program accepts applications (links below) on a rolling basis.
