Conference Details

USULC cost of attendance is $250 per student, which includes room and board for 2 nights, 3 meals a day, access to conference materials, a T-shirt, and all activities. Groups looking to spend an extra night on the USU campus will be charged an additional $20 per night, per student. Registration costs for school advisors and chaperones are covered by Utah State University.
Each group attending USULC must have an advisor at the conference with them at all times. If the student government advisor is not available the week of the conference, an alternate advisor is welcome and required to attend. There is no cost for advisor(s) in attendance.

Our conference concept invites advisors to be here to spend quality time with their students and have quality planning time for the new school year. A daily advisor meeting will occur over breakfast to be sure that you have a good idea of what each day will entail.

Advisors are in charge of keeping track of their students (remain on time, make the most of planning and processing time, enforce curfew, enforcing the code of conduct, etc.).
Students and advisors stay in on-campus housing. Housing materials and keys are given at conference check-in and are required to be returned at conference checkout. Room assignments will be made by Admissions staff based on final registration information due two weeks before the conference start date. Students will be sharing a room/suite with others from their same school wherever possible. Advisors will be in the same building as their students, but not in the same room/suite.
All groups in attendance will provide their own transportation to and from the USU campus. Parking details, whether you have cars or a bus, will be provided in the registration confirmation email. Any transportation needs for various activities throughout the conference will be provided by USU.
If you have questions about USULC, please contact the Program Director, Joe Graul, at joseph.graul@usu.edu or at 435-797-2920.

Registration Details

Schools who have attended USULC in the past will have the opportunity to complete their conference pre-registration prior to it going live for new schools on Friday, January 30, at 9:00a.m. MST. Student government groups can reserve and secure their spot by completing the first-come-first-serve pre-registration process and by paying a $200 security deposit by March 13. Groups who have not paid the security deposit by March 13 will be moved to the back of the waitlist with participation subject to space availability. Additionally, groups who do not acquire a spot for their desired week can be placed on a waitlist.

Security deposits will be refunded to group advisors at the conclusion of the conference once lost housing keys, lockouts, parking passes, and any facility damages are assessed and deducted from the deposit.

After securing their spot through the pre-registration process, confirmed groups will complete the general registration process where final numbers and individual participant information must be submitted three weeks prior to the conference start date. Advisors may swap a new participant for an old participant up to five (5) days after general registration closes. All conference registration payments are due and are non-refundable after the general registration close date.

Please see the complete registration timeline below.

If you would like to pre-register for USULC 2026, please contact the Program Director, Joe Graul, at joseph.graul@usu.edu or at 435-797-2920 to inquire about availability.
