Get set for Aggie success
Utah State University has been a leader in online and technology-enhanced learning for over two decades. We are uniquely positioned to provide a consistent education under the many scenarios that may unfold this fall.
Technology-Enhanced Learning
The collegiate experience may be different but great academic experiences in the USU tradition will never change.
Formats to expect
- Hybrid: A combination of in person and remote learning. As determined by the instructor, students will be on a rotating schedule with some class time in the class and some online.
- Web conference: Students and teachers meet for class at the same time, but through a web conferencing system (Zoom).
- Online: All content, including recorded lectures, is online and students access through Canvas.
- Traditional or IVC: Students meet in their classroom or lab, following social distancing guidelines and classroom caps. For Interactive Video Conference (IVC) classes, teachers and students meet together in IVC enabled-classrooms at their nearest regional campuses.
USU is committed to providing a supportive, learning environment for students. We have implemented protocols to ensure students have a safe and successful academic year. The video explains the types of instructional delivery that students can anticipate and how to determine how classes will be delivered.
