Facilities Support Services/Logistics encompasses six major areas of operation: Management Information Systems (MIS), which is in charge of all computers and networks within the department; Safety, which bears the charge of keeping our employees out of harm's way; Purchasing & Receiving, which handles all incoming and outgoing freight for Utah State University; and the Central Warehouse, which maintains an inventory of items needed by the Facilities Department and is closely allied to Purchasing & Receiving; and Surplus Sales, which is used by the university to surplus/dispose of property they no longer use- in the proper manner set in state guidelines. The manager of Support Services is Mike George.
