Mission Statement
The Outreach Coordination position will support the University's vision of "one student, one campus" by providing leadership and better communications between the Student Services Division on the main campus in Logan and the regional campuses and distance education centers thoughout the state of Utah
Goals:
- Serve as a liaison between the Student Services Division on USU main campus and the Regional and Distance Education campuses.
- Visit each regional and distance education campus twice each year
- Improve personal and working relations.
- Improve communication and disseminate necessary information.
- Assess the needs of the students and work with Student Services Division to meet their needs.
Outreach Effort:
In order to improve communication between the Student Service Division on the main, regional, and distance education campuses, the following strategies have been orginized:
- Annual USU Informational Seminars.
- A "USU Friendship Bus Tour" to our regional and distance education campuses (still in the planning stages).
