For Tritrichomonas foetus cultures that arrive at the lab in a trich pouch that was inoculated within the last 48 hrs, the charge is $6.00 per sample.
For Tritrichomonas foetus cultures that arrive at the lab in a trich pouch that was inoculated over 48 hrs, or are in saline or some other transport media other than a trich pouch, an addition setup fee of $6.50 (the cost of a T. foetus pouch) will be charged bringing the total to $12.50 per sample.
Please be aware of the 48 hour limit when shipping samples to the laboratory (samples shipped on Fridays will go over the 48 hr limit, samples shipped on Thursdays need to be shipped overnight to be received before the 48 hr limit).
