Pre-Recorded Lectures in Zoom
Publish Previously Recorded Meetings in a Current Canvas Course
In your Zoom account, schedule a meeting that does not use your personal meeting ID then enter the meeting and record it (no participants need to join). *This will only work if the meeting is not already associated with one of your classes in Canvas.* If the meeting is already associated with another course, you will need to post the recording link somewhere else in your course, or find the video in your My Media and publish it into the Media Gallery.

Open the Zoom page in your Canvas course

Select the three dots to the right of Schedule a New Meeting and select Import Meeting

Put in the meeting ID that was used to record

Once imported, the recordings will show up in the Recordings tab. Toggle the Publish button so students can view it.
