Teaching From Your Office
If teaching over Zoom from an office, holding class will be almost identical to running a normal Zoom call. The main difference is the equipment that is required to originate from somewhere other than a classroom (more information below).
Steps to Prepare

Acquire the required equipment (listed below)

Schedule the Zoom meetings for your class

Do a test run using the equipment acquired
Equipment Required
- At least two monitors
- 1080p webcam with capability to zoom in/out
- Recommended webcam that can zoom and has a built-in light: Streaming Webcam 1080p with Ring Light Opens External Page
- Recommended webcam that can zoom, has a remote, and contains a built-in light: AutoFocus Webcam with Remote Control and Ring Light
- External microphone

- Adequate lighting (in the office or built into the webcam)
- Clean background
- Plain wall or uncluttered background
- No windows
- If using a virtual background, use a green screen Opens External Page
