Schedule a Kaltura Classroom Recording

To schedule a Kaltura Classroom recording, you will need to authorize your “My Media” account and enable the “Media Gallery” in the course you are scheduling the recording for.

Then, submit a recording request form.

Click on your Account in Canvas

Click My Media

You have now enabled your My Media account (you will only need to do this one time)

Enable Media Gallery in a Specific Course

To enable the Media Gallery:

Click on the course in Canvas you are scheduling the classroom recording for

Click on Settings in the left navigation

Then click on the Navigation tab at the top of the page

Scroll down to the disabled navigation items

Find Media Gallery and drag it up to the active course navigation section

Make sure to save your changes at the bottom of the page when you’re done.

Click on the Media Gallery link from the left navigation

Copy the URL from the page

Paste the URL into the Kaltura Classroom request form

You will need to do this for every class for which you would like to schedule a recording.
