Making Adjustments After Students Have Taken Exam

The Proctorio settings are designed to not be adjusted after students have taken an exam to ensure fairness amongst all test takers. If there is an error, you will need to:

1

Update the Assign to section to only include the student(s) who already took the original exam

This will ensure that your other students don't take the exam that contains the error.

In the example image below, Demo Student 01 was the only student who took the exam with the error in it.

Example of Assign to with Demo Student 01 as the only option.

2

Make a copy of the exam

How to copy your exam.

3

Assign the copy of the exam to the appropriate students

If you are planning on having all your students take the new version of the exam, including the ones who took the exam with the error in it:

  1. Assign everyone to your exam
  2. Save the exam
  3. Navigate to Grades
  4. Locate the column with the old exam
  5. Type 'EX' for all of the assigned students scores
