Time restrictions may be applied through Canvas Quizzes Open External Link  Automatically graded question types include:

• Multiple Choice Open External Link

• Multiple Answers Open External Link
• Multiple Drop-down Open External Link  (can be used for Likert scale Open External Link )
• Matching Open External Link
• Numerical Answer Open External Link
• Formula (simple formula Open External Link  and single variable Open External Link )

Manually graded questions can be added, also. These question types include:

• Fill-in-the-Blank Open External Link
• Fill-in-Multiple-Blanks Open External Link
• Essay Open External Link
• File Upload Open External Link

You can also Shuffle answer options and hide student quiz responses Open External Link  and Use question groups Open External Link  to deliver questions from a bank at random.

Questions may be imported into Canvas using Respondus software. If you would like or need help with this process, please submit a request. You will need to provide an answer key for self-grading questions.
