Syncing Canvas Calendar to Outlook or Google Calendars
How to sync your Canvas Calendar with your Outlook or Google accounts. This process will give you view-only access to your Canvas calendars from either Outlook or Google.
Microsoft Outlook
The following video and steps will walk you through the process of how to sync your Canvas calendar to your Microsoft Outlook calendar.
In Canvas, click on the Calendar tab
Click Calendar Feed
Copy the URL
Log into https://outlook.office.com
You can't sync your Canvas calendar through the Outlook app. You will have to log into your Outlook account online.
Click on the calendar tab
Click Add Calendar
Select Subscribe from web
Paste the URL copied in step 3 and fill out the rest of the information
Click Import
Google Calendar
The following video and steps will walk you through the process of how to sync your Canvas calendar to your Microsoft Outlook calendar.
In Canvas, click on the Calendar tab
Click Calendar Feed
Copy the URL
Log into https://calendar.google.com/
Click on the + next to Other calendars
Select From URL
Paste the URL copied in step 3
Click Add Calendar
Return back to the calendar
