Managing Outcomes in New Quizzes

From the course home page, select Assignments

Find and select your New Quiz

Scroll down and select Build

On the right side of the Build page, select the button Outcomes

Select Align Institution outcomes to this quiz

Find and select all outcomes that you would like to associate with the overall quiz

Then, click Confirm Alignments in the bottom right-hand corner of the page

To close the outcomes box, select Outcomes again

Once one or more outcomes have been added to the quiz, select the + under the listed outcomes to add more

On the Build page, find a question you would like to associate with an outcome. Select the pencil icon to the right of the question. This will open the question for editing.

At the bottom of the question, select the Align to Outcomes dropdown panel

(You may need to scroll to see this option.)

Select the outcome(s) you would like to associate with the question

Select Confirm Alignments

Confirm that the correct outcomes are listed under “Align to Outcomes"

Then, select Done to close and save the question
