Canvas Quiz Date Extension
Do you have a student who can't take the quiz or exam by the same due date as the other students? Canvas allows you to extend a due date on a quiz for single (or multiple) students.
Extend a Due Date

Click on the Quizzes link from the left-hand navigation menu

Click on the name of the quiz or exam

Click on the Edit button

On the bottom of the Assign To box, click on the Add button

Type in the name(s) of the student(s) for whom you are allowing the extension
Select the new due date and availability date settings
Note: You will notice that the "Everyone" label that was above the original due date has changed to "Everyone Else." All the other students will see the original date as their due date.

Click on the Save button to save the changes
