How to Simplify Your Canvas Navigation
By default, Canvas adds several extra menu items to your course that you are probably not using that make it difficult for students to find the resources that you are using. Fortunately, it is quick and easy to remove any extra items that you are not using.

Go to the course Settings and then click the Navigation tab

Click on the options icon for any menu item and click "Disable" to turn it off

Click Save in the bottom left corner
