Automatically Graded Quizzes in Canvas

This page describes the type of automatically graded question types associated with an automatically graded quiz.

Automatic grading may be achieved by using Canvas Quizzes Open External Link .

Automatically graded question types include:

• Multiple Choice Open External Link ,
• True/False Open External Link ,
• Multiple Answers Open External Link ,
• Multiple Drop-down Open External Link  (can be used for Likert scale Open External LInk ),
• Matching Open External Link ,
• Numerical Answer Open External Link   
• Formula (simple formula Open External Link   and single variable Open External Link ).

Questions may be imported into Canvas using Respondus software. If you would like or need help with this process, please submit a request. You will need to provide an answer key for self-grading questions.
